It is great to see our guest list continue to grow. Do you realize that Charles has joined Carol and Sovanny as recent guests who placed first in Table Topics! Jason gave a wonderful Ice Breaker last night. We certainly know more about him as a hockey player, dog lover, husband and son. Nice job Jason. Gary is giving his Ice Breaker next meeting. Great to see the new folks participating early. Thanks to all the vets who helped last night.

Hi Charles, the purpose is enable you to speak in public confidently. This includes small or large audiences. If you are interested in public speaking and overcoming a reluctance to speak in public, Toastmasters will help you do just that. It will also polish your public speaking skills. The length of time that takes depends on your learning abilities. Some people take longer to learn than others. Membership is per year that starts in October. Since we are already 1/2 way through the membership year the cost will be half of a normal year's dues. It is about $80.00/year plus $20.00 for the initial manuals. If you start today the cost would be around $60.00. Visitors are always welcome to attend 2 or 3 meetings before deciding if they would like to join.
Please note, A public speaking course at a college cost about $800~900 dollars for a semester (16 weeks). That makes for a very short learning curve!
Why don't you visit us and find out if this is right for you?

How will this help me, how long will take, and how much does it cost?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
