Having the personal strength, confidence, and physical awareness to interact with outside energies of any type is one of the key components to living a free, healthy and vital, and even spiritual and compassionate life.
In this interactive workshop we will use the safe, fun, and spirited environment to gracefully establish and/or fine-tune a personal philosophy and experience of personal power and self defense - learning to observe, position, and express energy/intent through presence and posture, movement, the release of stress, and the sharing of stories and strategies - all toward the goal of lessening the fear and mystery of conflict, learning to avoid it whenever possible but also being always prepared to survive and thrive.
Jamie is Soulful Awakenings' Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor. A 3rd Degree Black Belt with over 15 years experience in a variety of traditional martial arts, empty-hand combat and weapon styles of self defense, all in the pursuit of dynamic longevity and a fully spirited life journey.
