So sorry to have missed this. My home computer is down so I rely on my work computer for meetup communication. I was in too much pain with legs/feet on Sunday to attend and I am so sorry to have missed. Sounds like a good time was had. Hope to catch everyone next time!

For those interested in Staten Island, my next walk will be in the Greenbelt on 10/20 to see fall leaves and views from Moses Mountain.

The walk is definitely on. There will be an Asian Autumn Festival at Snug Harbor from 11-5, costing $8-10 with Asian food for sale. I will meet people at the ferry terminal and walk to the garden, meeting people who want to drive or take the bus on the large lawn with picnic tables near the Children's Museum around 12-12:30. We'll walk the grounds, see gardens after lunch and check if the Shanty concert at the Noble (free) is still on.

Hi - have a question. I love the Sea Shanty Concerts and I live on Staten Island. Depending on how I progress due to leg and feet injuries I may not be able to do the hike but I can drive to Snug Harbor and meet everyone there. Is that okay? Is there anything I need to do?

Hi Katie, telephone the hike leader, Bettye Soffer, and let her know you would like to meet the group at Snug Harbor.
