It was a very pleasant walk and a nice group of people to hang out. Will definitely look into their next event.

Is the walk steep at any point? I'm scared of heights

Thanks for the video but i've walked over the GWB and that doesn't scare me. Steep stairs and hills would. I guess I should skip this.

I'm very disappointed I cannot go, I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, I'm really sick.

What time do you anticipate the hike the end?

    May 12, 2014

    • Tom B.

Probably back to the bus station no later than 4:00 p.m., figure 5 to 6 hours depending on the speed of the group and the exact route.

    Is there car paring ?

Probably you can find parking near the George Washington Bridge Bus Station at Broadway and 178th, where the hike will begin and end, or you can park near any stop of the A train and take the train to 175th Street.

yes I am interested in when it ends and the length of the walk --it's eight miles? Are you doing a loop if someone has to stop and catch you coming back?

    May 15, 2014

    • Tom B.

The hike does begin and end at the George Washington Bus Station at 178th Street and Broadway; it will not be a loop however, as the path northfrom the GWB is along the Hudson River shore while the path back south is along the Palisades, also there are only a few ways from the shore up to the Palisades; if you wanted to shorten the hike and still finish with the group then ask Cy and he will give you directions.

Is the starting point near the ending point. I am thinking about driving there if its worth it.

The hike begins and ends at the George Washington Bridge Bus Station at 178th between Broadway and Fort Washington Avenue. You could park anywhere near there or even anywhere along the A train and then take the A train to 175th Street.
