I was planning on driving to fort tryon park, but apparently this hike doesn't end @ Fort Tryon, is that correct?

    August 5, 2014

    • Tom B.

Hi Marysol, it looks like the hike will end at Wave Hill in the Bronx; there is a shuttle bus from Wave Hill to the 1 line at 242nd Street, so if you park near the 1 line, you can return to your car. If you park near the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center around Broadway and 168th street you can catch the A train to 190th street to meet the group and then take the 1 back to 168th street from the Bronx.

Because the A and the 1 cross at the Broadway/168th street station.

    Hi:
Directions say 190 street but the map shows 175 street. What am I missing?
    Thanks.

Hi Alice, get off the A train at 190th Street and take the elevator upstairs, when you leave the station upstairs you will be within sight of the Fort Washington Avenue/Margaret Corbin Circle entrance to the Fort Tryon Park.
