Shuffle Marketing.

A unique event where small businesses can connect with professionals with marketing experience to have their marketing questions answered in a relaxed, interactive way. We've taken our inspiration by combining the principles behind scrums and speed-dating sessions to create quite literally the 'speed-dating' of marketing consultation or 'Shuffle' marketing.

Who is it for?

Small businesses, start-ups, charities, entrepreneurs, and community projects seeking marketing advice, and marketers of all backgrounds. Our aim is to do our outmost best to connect the right business to the right advisor to help solve immediate problems as well as to help forge long-term relationships.

What's a Shuffle?

Once a month we run a series of 'Shuffles' around a networking event. These are short 30-40 minute sessions where experienced professionals with marketing expertise are paired with entrepreneurs seeking advice to share their ideas, discuss marketing hurdles, and brainstorm how these may be overcome.

How does it work?

At each live event, each business takes part in two 30-40 minute Shuffles. Upon arrival each attendee signs in by providing name, title, company name and purpose of attendance (advisor/ advisee). If they have not done so already as part of their profile, they will be asked to complete a short application to help the organizers establish their needs or areas of expertise. If they are a marketer or advisor, we will want to know what their experience is and how they would like to help. If they are an entrepreneur, we will seek out to learn a little more about their company and the challenges or specific questions they are looking for help with.

The purpose of this 'application' is to ensure that we match the right advisor to the right start-up, so that each attendee can get the most out of their Shuffle. We take this information away while attendees network, and pair each business with two advisors - one advisor per Shuffle. During the first Shuffle each business is paired with Advisor 1. At the end of the 30-40 minutes we take a quick break and prepare for our next Shuffle, where each business is paired with Advisor 2. After that, there will be more time for networking and drinks.
