It was a very pleasant evening. People were very serious about their writing.

An enjoyable evening. I get the impression that people are serious about writing.

It was great for me! I got a great start on a current project and a delicious sandwich, too. Not to mention the input of fellow writers and their good company.

Hi Nirali. There's usually an open spot, so go ahead and come by. If the group continues to grow, we might need a new location or to truly cap it at 10, but right now we're okay.

    “Hi.”
    “Hi.”
    “Where were you?”
    “Nowhere.”
“I used to go there, too.”
    “You did?”
    “It was fun. No grownups.”
    “Yeah! What did you do?”
    “Steal apples.”
    “You stole apples?”
“Sure did. I was the skinniest so I could climb best.”
    “Wow!”
“I guess they’re all gone now. Too bad. They were the best.”
    “Uh. There’s a few left.”
    “You brought some?”
    “Uh. Yeah.”
    “But you ate them all.”
“Couldn’t finish them. There’s one left. Would you like it?”
“You’ll have to cut it for me.”
“That’s OK. I can do that. Where d’you keep your knives?”
