It is rare to find a writer that doesn't struggle, so you are in good company. I think everyone that attends can get something out of the experience. A common theme seems to be the difficulty with focusing on writing at home. There are so many distractions!
At this meetup, the only rule is that when it's time to write, we "Shut Up And Write!" for an hour.
There is talking before and after this hour where we socialize, share ideas and maybe ask each other for advice.
Many writing groups emphasize sharing of your writing, often for critique. That can be a lot of pressure and likely drives away some writers.
      Come and try!
