Wonderful time with Sophie, Jeff & Sue. Thank you all for a great experience... And, I should be able to start walking again in a few weeks.
Actually, loved being out on a kayak & Sophie, for your patients, & Jeff & Sue, for all the work involved in pulling it all together... meaning the kayaks, the drive & jacket, etc, etc... I really appreciate all of you.
Hope to do it again & will bring a change of clothes!

I just put in the location for the boat launch on the map. The park office is about 1/2 mile south of the drive into the boat launch, office address is
2 Athol-Richmond Road Royalston, MA 01368 which should work for GPS. Please remember that PFDs are required after September 15.
Chubby's Food and Ice Cream is listed as 2 Stadler Street or 33 State Street, Belchertown, MA. It is on the corner. Chubby's is about 45 minutes south of Tully Lake.

we will have 2 extra kayaks and a canoe. Let me know if Anyone can paddle the canoe. We also have an extra seat for the canoe. We don't have the pfd's for those that would go in the canoe so let us know if you have one to bring. Also I did not keep up my paddling certification so no longer have that. I have taught and led groups of assorted ages from 6 year olds and up. (Sue you can pick a kayak for the day. You may like my blue one)

Sophie will also weigh in here, but it would be great if some veteran kayakers in the group participate and maybe bring an extra kayak, if they have one, to share. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out, hoping some kayaks turn up to accommodate the group. Crossing my fingers.
