For people who are shy or socially anxious it is sometimes difficult to pull themselves out of the house and out of their safe routines. A sister group to The Toronto Shyness and Socially Anxious Support Group - we are an activity group for the extremely shy and socially anxious. We hope to make this a group were people can perhaps relax, foster real friendships and develop a sense of normalcy while in the company of others that experience the same fear of social situations on a daily basis. Together, let’s start experiencing life in spite of our social fears. There are several excellent Meetups that cater to support and self-improvement in the area of social phobia, but here we simply want to give therapy a break.
We welcome any activity ideas you may have. If there is an event that sparks your interest and you feel it may be of interest to others, or merely want company… why not post it as a possible future meetup under the ‘Ideas’ button?
