Location: Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, 6701 W. Parker Road, Plano, TX
Rescheduled to January, due to weather conditions. We will continue the "Hiking for Hunger", and collect donations for the North Texas Pet Food Pantry and/or North Texas Food Bank.
Summary: We will be celebrating our second year end event at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. The Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a great 200 acre park located at Midway and Parker Rd. in west Plano. The park is managed by the City of Plano and offers natural hiking trails, mountain biking trails, and paved trails for walking or cycling. The park has excellent amenities with lots of parking, nice restrooms, and three covered pavilions with picnic tables. We will take the dogs on a leisurely hike of one of the many available trails. Depending on the dogs, owners and group size, will depend which trail we embark on.
Hopefully we can get get a few people willing to spend a lazy Sunday, out socializing and enjoying our furkids.
WE WILL MEET BY THE RESTROOMS. We recommend good walking shoes, warm clothes (dressing in layers recommended) and water (for you and your kids).
