North Texas Irish Festival, Dallas (3-day event)

Location: 3939 Grand Avenue (Fair Park), Dallas, TX

Friday night is the kickoff to this years North Texas Irish Festival and they have a tradition of giving you one of the best Friday night deals in Dallas. Friday night is not just a couple of stages and a few vendors; it is a full sampler of everything that you can expect during the weekend. All stages are open with some of our top headline bands performing, plus many of your favorite local bands. All vendors will be open for business, all food and beverage concessions will be open (including a wide variety of fish and vegetarian dishes for Lent). Local Irish Dancers will be performing, they will have Gaelic sports, wine and Whiskey tasing and pretty much everything that will be available all weekend.

If you have not been to NTIF, this is your chance to see what you are missing. If you are in line (or just getting off DART) before 7:00pm (on Friday) you can walk right on in FREE OF CHARGE. After 7:00pm cost is just $10, but with one of their web-site only half-price coupons you can get in for $5. Can you bring your dog??? Most certainly! In fact they encourage all four legged friends to come out and enjoy the weekend festivities. They do ask, however, that you keep the pups on a short leash at all times, be wary of other dogs and small children, and do bring a supply of plastic bags to "clean up" after your pets. They also request a $1 donation to the SPCA for all pets. Unruley dogs will be asked to leave, and to take their owners with them. NTIF is not responsibile for any incidents involving dogs - or their owners!

We will be looking to attend tomorrow afternoon (probably around 3pm), since Sunday has a high chance of rain.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
