I'm new to the group and I have a new dog who is a Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute mix. He is very dominant with other dogs so I am not sure if he and I will be a fit here--I definitely will need to keep him on a leash, but we'll just see if it works out or not. I am interested in finding a group that does dog sledding on wheels, and / or a pulling contest. I have had some animal intuitives tell me that he needs a job, or more activity. But there aren't any meetups about that in Dallas that I know of.

Welcome Sarah. The beauty of this park is the large dog area, but also an enclosed pond. We also know some husky/malamute owners who have discussed setting up events like you noted......the breeds are definitely work oriented.
