The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for those gay guys (aged 30 or older) who are hardcore and even mild fans of geeky interests.  As somewhat of a fan of many things geeky, I want this group to provide me (and those like me) with opportunities to learn more about any and all things related to"Geek Culture" (including but not limited to comics(Marvel, DC, Independents, graphic novels, sci-fi/fantasy books and movies, animation, puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, scale model (cars, trains, and yes robots), games (video, RPG, and even card games). I'm a fan of Star Trek, but Star Wars fans are welcome to join as well.

Members are STRONGLY encouraged to post photos of projects that they've completed (as well as photos of their "collections".  Even if you live too far away, you are welcome to join, as long as you're willing to share your love of "Geek Culture" (either through the forum page or by posting photos of your "collections".

The title comes from me having the feeling that the world is passing me by , and I'm just sitting on the sidelines.  If you feel the same way, then this might just be the group for you.
