Visit Southwest Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

A docent will introduce us to the many species of rescued and distressed wildlife. Meet and hear the stories about resident wolves, bear, mountain lions, and many other species. Please bring a requested $15 per person to contribute to the upkeep of this facility. Bring lunch to share pot luck style in the sheltered picnic area next to the Mexican Gray Wolf and Harris Hawk.

Sorry...I got too late a start and could not get through to Center to find specific directions. I didn't want to be so late as to miss most of the tour. Have a great time!

I'll be there if I can find it. These directions mean nothing to me and the map isn't even close.

Do we bring our own lunch or a potluck type dish?

Hello SWWL Visitors... I had a question about bringing children... by all means this would be perfect for children. The SWWL collects contributions to keep their operations going. I am thinking that children would not be charged $15 each. They are very casual about this. Our Group will contribute $100 so that will make up whatever difference there may be. Note that I corrected an error that said the location was near Camp Verde.. wrong! I meant to say Rio Verde.. Just stay on Dynamite to 156th and turn south 1/2 mi... turn right at the sign. See you Saturday. Bev Full, Leader

Hello All, Thanks for joining this Outing. It Looks like we have a group of 10+ coming to the Wildlife tour. Our docent and I will meet you at the sheltered picnic area at 10 AM. A donation will be requested so bring some cash and our Sierra Club Group will be making a donation as well. Don't forget a lunch to share and some water. This will be an up close and personal visit with rescued native wildlife. If you need to find a car pool or need further directions, please contact me through MeetUp or through Sierra Club. Thanks.
