Special Palo Verde Group Program: "Viva la Verde" screening with Hugh Denno!

Please join us for this very special FREE film screening of Viva la Verde, and meet the film's director Hugh Denno!

Viva la Verde is a conservation film about the Verde River in Arizona. The Verde is one of the last free flowing desert rivers that survives in Arizona and it might be saved by a few productive humans, people just like you and I.

If you would like to support a local film with a real cause and a real solution: consider supporting Viva la Verde.

Hugh Denno holds a BA Degree in Conservation Biology and Adventure Education from Prescott College. While there he established an in-house production work flow to film and produce DVDs for the Prescott Colleges graduation and baccalaureate ceremonies. In addition to this, his senior project Viva la Verde has inspired thousands of people in the southwest to be more water wise.

Viva la Verde was screened as the feature film at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Prescott and Phoenix, Arizona. After college he started Hueman Productions. Hugh is now enjoying his niche as an independent producer, photographer, and editor for promotional, narrative and documentary videos. Hugh continues to travel and make films with hopes of changing the world. His ultimate goal is to use video to paint a clear picture of a positive future that we can all work towards.

As always, refreshments are free.

We had another great turnout tonight, but it looks like several of you were scared away by the rain. You'll have another chance to meet the Viva la Verde producers next week at ASU. For more info like Viva la Verde on Facebook!
