Dinner and "Bedtime for Bonzo" - 6:30pm

  • January 25, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Come join the Loma Prieta Sierra Singles Group (folks that won't be listed on this meetup) for dinner and a movie that is a "cute, harmless little comedy" with Ronald Reagan, whom you may only know as a president or governor. In this 1951 film at the Stanford Theater, "a professor tries to prove that environment, not heredity dictates behavior". Hmmm. We can discuss that afterwards over dessert or a drink on University Avenue. Popcorn is only $2.50 for the big bucket in a great old time ornate theater with a live organist playing. If you've never been, you should.

Movie: 7:30 pm start at 221 University Ave, Palo Alto. I'll answer my cell until 7:28 pm if you're late.

If you can make it, have dinner with us at Pluto's, a casual, inexpensive, yet good salad, sandwiches etc place. I'll be there with a small "Sierra Club" sign on the table. It's quick to order if you're tight on time. Or call my cell.

Dinner: about 6:30 pm at Pluto's, 482 University Ave

Pluto's menu: http://www.plutosfreshfood.com/menu.html
Stanford Theater: http://www.stanfordtheatre.org/
This movie info: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043325/

Parking: There's a 3 story garage 1/2 block from Pluto's off Cowper St, a couple of doors south of University down the alley past California Pizza Kitchen. Or there's a bigger garage between Bryant & Florence 1/2 block north of University.

In case you have never been to the Stanford theater before, you should know that they only accept cash.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
