Welcome Walk

This is our monthly walk to introduce prospective members to the Sierra Club's singles over 40 group. It is an approximately 4-5 mile flat scenic walk along the San Francisco Bay with excellent water and wild life views - binoculars recommended. All new, current and prospective members are welcome to join. Please DO tell your friends about it. After the walk we will retire to Michael's Cafe for food, drinks and more socializing.

If you're interested in joining Sierra Club on the day of this hike at a discounted price please bring along your checkbook.
Dress to the weather and in layers, allowing for the bay breeze. Bring sun protection, water and a smile to share.
Rain will cancel.

Location:
2960 N Shoreline Blvd Mountain View

Directions: From Hwy 101 take Shoreline Blvd exit and travel east toward the Bay. Continue on Shoreline for about 1 mile to the Park entrance (no entrance fee) and drive for less than a mile inside the park. Look for the signs for "Michael's Cafe". Meeting location: In front of Michael's Cafe.

Parking is available in front of Michael's, the golf course or Lakeside Cafe.

A nice walk. I did not realize that there was a trail connecting Shoreline amd Baylands parks. Thanks to Meredith for arranging this walk.

Woops, I misread the date. I needed a walk for today, Saturday. I went anyway and was truly a Solo Sierran. It was a gorgeous day though.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
