Have you been counting the days and now hours until Daylight Savings Time allows us to start hiking after work? I know I have. Come out and help me celebrate the "longer" days with a hike.

We will be meeting at the corner of Runnymede Road and Raymundo Drive in Woodside, using the Crystal Springs Trail to get into Huddart Park, which we will exit quickly since the park closes at 7 pm, and use the Woodside Trails to return to our cars.

The hike is 5.5 miles with ~200 feet of elevation gain, but will be fast paced, as it will be dark around 7:40 pm. PLEASE NOTE: Woodside does not have street lights. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp.

The hike will start at 6 pm. Please come 10-15 minutes early to sign in so you don't get left behind on this very first of the season hike. There are no easy exits off of highway 280 to get to the trailhead, so you will probably want to plan ahead with your favorite mapping program. I recommend the Edgewood exit whether you are coming from the north or the south.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
