Join the Loma Prieta Sierra Singles on a 5-mile lively and brisk walk (not a beginner walk) of holiday lights, along city streets with a slowed pace on Eucalyptus Avenue, where the City of San Carlos is known for the extravagant display of lights and sounds. Possibly the best on the peninsula.
Meet at 6:30pm at the public parking lot at approx 615 Walnut Street in San Carlos, to begin a mostly flat and brisk walk for 5 miles down tree lined, and holiday light lit residential streets.
The pace will slow down a bit when we reach Eucalyptus, to enjoy the abundance of lights, sounds and smells along this brightly lit two blocks. It is really an amazing display of lights, sounds and holiday energy!
The walk will continue and take us back the few streets left to our starting point on Walnut St.
Optional post-walk dinner at a nearby eatery.
Light rain will not cancel.
Heavy rain will have us decide if we want to walk a bit shorter route or drive.
Meeting location: approx 615 Walnut Street parking lot at San Carlos Avenue, San Carlos.
Leader: Denise Vann, [masked],[masked]
