Located in the San Francisco P.U.C. Watershed property west of Crystal Springs Lake and the San Andreas Reservoir, the Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail follows the property's main jeep road from Highway 92 to its boundary with Sweeney Ridge. This restricted segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail features mixed woodlands and grassland, including both shade and open areas with views of the reservoir, ocean and northern peninsula.
This trail is accessible only via registering with their docent led hikes. We'll meet at 8:30AM at South end of the trail. From there, we'll shuttle to San Bruno to start our 13-mile hike back to our cars, including all 10 miles of the Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail.
Bring plenty of water, lunch, hiking footwear and sun protection. Dress in layers since the weather may be unpredictable along the ridge.
Please signup only if you can commit to making it.
There will be a South Bay carpool setup at Lucky at Los Altos. To signup, you have to be willing to drive car shuttle unless you're in South Bay carpool or a self-carpool.

(1) SFPUC requires name, e-mail, phone and city of residence for all participants.
(2) Are you going to be in South Bay carpool ?
(3) Are you going to be in a self-carpool? if yes, with whom?
