Dinner and Free Music in Downtown San Jose

Join me with my new discovery, “Free Music in Downtown San Jose”. The Tabard Theatre (29 N San Pedro St), an excellent but somewhat obscure Theatre, has a new program. They bring in local musical groups and offer free music to the public. And, feel free to get up and dance! It’s happens on most Tuesdays at 7pm and is happening next Tuesday and as follows:

May 13th The Swing Solution (Big Band)
May 27th Nothing on website but was told there would be something. Will announce later.
June 3rd Silicon Valley Blues Society program to be announced
June 10 Soul, Rhythm & Blues The Marvin Banks Band
June 17 Big Band Sons of Jubal

I attended the four performances and haven’t been disappointed The theatre was less than half full, so, initially, this is a “drop in” affair. The Tabard Theatre Bar/Refreshment stand will be open for your gustatory & libation pleasures.
I will have dinner at 5:45 pm at the San Pedro Square Market. Meet us at 5:45 p.m. in front of the “Public Market Entrance”, 87 North San Pedro Street, San Jose CA. Then we will go inside and choose one of many inexpensive restaurants in the food court. If you arrive later, we should be eating in the courtyard (if it’s warm) or in the back building (if it’s chilly). The theatre is just down the street from our dining venue. Park across the street in the multi-story public lot. The Tabard Theatre will validate your parking ticket so it’s free. Come for the dinner, or just come for the music, or come for both.
Oh, and did I say you can get up and dance to the music? And, it’s free? Parking too?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
