Join me, at least one of my dogs and Loma Prieta Sierra Singles for a brisk walk along the bay beginning at Seal Point Park in San Mateo at 6 pm on Friday, August 1. This scenic 5 mile out-and-back stroll offers great bay views and one optional hill but otherwise it is completely flat. Your dogs are welcome, too.
Bring water and a light jacket because it can be very windy.
Dinner after the walk is an option. If that interests you, bring your suggestions for nearby restaurants.
Meeting location and directions: We will meet at Seal Point Park, San Mateo in the parking lot closest to the dog park. I will be standing beside my white Subaru station wagon wearing something bright blue. The most direct way to get there is to take 101 to the Third Avenue exit going east. Third Avenue curves around to become J. Hart Clinton Drive although the street name change can be a bit confusing. The entrance to the park is located on your left. The address is listed as 1901 J. Hart Clinton Drive.
