Hike was very nice, we finished in 90 minutes even with break in middle. But we had a good ascent hike.

By waterproof snow boots, summer boots that are waterproof or water resistant will do just fine. I should have clarified that phrase in the description. I did this hike with two friends last Thursday and we only used summer hiking boots that had Goretex liner and we did just fine. I postholed 3 times but only went in about 10 inches, so walking at normal speed with hiking poles will prevent such a happening causing a problem.
