What can fish tell us about the levels of contaminants in Michigan lakes and streams? We have been monitoring levels of toxic chemicals in Michigan fish since the early 1980s - what are the good news/bad news stories after all of the clean-up efforts in the state? Joe Bohr, aquatic biologist with the MDEQ Water Resources Division, will discuss changes in mercury, PCBs, and other legacy contaminant levels over time, as well as the discovery of other contaminants of concern.
