Join us for a moderately paced hike amongst 2 miles of trails, some sandy knolls and wetlands. Lake Isabelle is situated on the south end of this 226 acre property. Dress for the weather. Wear boots and bring your own water.
The Sierra Club is a non-profit, member-supported, public interest organization that promotes conservation of the natural environment by influencing public policy decisions--legislative, administrative, legal, and electoral. The purpose of the Sierra Club: To explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the Earth; to practice and promote the responsible use of the Earth's ecosystems and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.
Since its founding in 1892, the Sierra Club has been our nation's most effective defender of wilderness and the environment. The Huron Valley Group is part of the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club, which includes all of Michigan. The Huron Valley Group itself includes most of the Huron River watershed, including Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Monroe counties.
