4th Friday Film: Groundswell Rising: Protecting Our Children's Air & Water

FREE & open to the public.
Friday, April 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 424 Center St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 - Enter on Wall St. Film starts at 7:15 pm Mark Lichty (Producer) will be at the UUCLV on Friday night to answer questions. Mark is local and did part of the filming at our Marcellus Shale Exposed held at NCC 2 years ago.

This new documentary from Emmy Award-winning Resolution Pictures, captures the passion of people engaged in a David and Goliath confrontation. They stand together, challenging a system that promotes profit over health. We meet mothers, fathers, scientists, doctors, farmers and people from all sides of the political spectrum taking a hard look at energy extraction techniques not proven to be safe. With the Oil and Gas industry’s expansion of fracking seen as a moral issue, this provocative documentary tracks a people’s movement, a groundswell rising towards reason and sensitivity, to protect life, today and tomorrow.

I saw the film screened today at NCC. It is really excellent - on a quality level up there with Gasland. See if if you can!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
