I love our planet and and fight to protect it! I promote sustainability, garden, hike & host a monthly dinner & a movie for the Sierra Club to educate & encourage others to make a difference. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something!
Milford, NJ - just a stone's throw across the river.
Hike, Bike, Kayak and explore the flora and fauna we are blessed to share this planet with.
Protecting the environment is the most important thing I do.
This group rocks!
Yeah. It was me. Apparently it didn't like : [masked] Duh. Thanks for the car well-wishes. I guess it wasn't meant to be, but I'll see you next time, definitely.
Thank you Susan!! I am looking over all of the the upcoming meet-ups as we speak and hope to see you soon!
Oh, I didn't know about the wind turbines by Hawk Mountain! Maybe that's where some of my electricity comes from :-) (I'm contracted for 100% wind-generated electric, but the company, whose address is in TX, doesn't tell me where its installations are located.)
Susan, It was good seeing you at NNC screening of Cape Spin.
Perspective on the "esthetics" argument against the Cape Wind project: Minimum distance from shore to the turbines is over 5 miles.
To someone who is so fortunate as to have sharp enough vision to make it out, a 400 foot turbine 5 miles away would look like a 20 foot telephone pole 1/4 mile away.
If that is too steep a price to pay for clean, renewable energy, there truly is no hope for the future of the Earth as we know it.
Just saw your note from April...Thanks, it worked!!! See you Thursday.
