  • Yeah. It was me. Apparently it didn't like : [masked] Duh. Thanks for the car well-wishes. I guess it wasn't meant to be, but I'll see you next time, definitely.

  • I had to change my RSVP to a NO due to last minute car trouble. I tried the email contact but the address didn't work. I am disappointed, but I hope you guys have a great time.

  • Oh, I didn't know about the wind turbines by Hawk Mountain! Maybe that's where some of my electricity comes from :-) (I'm contracted for 100% wind-generated electric, but the company, whose address is in TX, doesn't tell me where its installations are located.)

  • Susan, It was good seeing you at NNC screening of Cape Spin.

Perspective on the "esthetics" argument against the Cape Wind project: Minimum distance from shore to the turbines is over 5 miles.
To someone who is so fortunate as to have sharp enough vision to make it out, a 400 foot turbine 5 miles away would look like a 20 foot telephone pole 1/4 mile away.

If that is too steep a price to pay for clean, renewable energy, there truly is no hope for the future of the Earth as we know it.

  • Susan: Sorry for the late notice but I'm not feeling well and won't be able to attend the film tonight. - Larry
