The featured speaker will be George Bleakney. A two-time track and field All American, Gus left his job to complete a two year 18,500 mile bicycle trip from northern Alaska to the southern tip of South America. The project was called Ribbon of Road--it raised $50,000 to fight diabetes.
Gus says, "Since my Ribbon of Road cycling journey, I've focused on directing photographic, written, and mixed-media projects that range from editorial assignments to large commercial campaigns. My lightweight production approach applies the core storytelling principle learned during my Ribbon of Road adventure: capture authentic stories with agility and curiosity."
