Hike the Jacksonville Arboretum and Celebrate Its First Anniversary

We'll hike the wooded, relaxing trails of the Jacksonville Arboretum (about 3 miles), then join in a big First Year Anniversary Celebration starting at 10:00 a.m. with educational programs on bee-keeping and snakes, story-tellers, a great selection of vendors, kids activities, food vendors, music, and local non-profits.

Bring water and bug spray. Children capable of walking 2 - 3 miles are welcome. Meet in the Arboretum parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Location:1445 Millcoe Rd, 32225. From 9A, exit east on Monument Road, turn left on Millcoe Road, turn right into the Arboretum parking area. See map in FILES section.

We had a great hike, including the comments of an expert biologist! The Arboretum festivities and info booths were interesting and fun.
