We will celebrate the anniversary of the Wilderness Act with Andy Miller and Warren Anderson of the Public Trust Environmental Legal Institute of Florida.
The Wilderness Act was enacted to ensure that not all lands in the US, despite increasing population and mechanization, be modified, leaving some wildlands for protection and preservation in their natural state.
Andy and Warren will highlight the beauty of these pristine places and discuss how wildlands are designated and defined today, and, how our vigilant protection is increasingly vital! Come and share Andy and Warren's passion and take away vital tools you can use to ensure our country's legacy.
All are welcome! For further information, contact Larry Lickenbrock at (904) 537-6047. The program will be held in the main meeting room of the Ponte Vedra Beach Public Library on Library Road at A1A (blinking light south of the intersection of A1A and Solana Road, on A1A about two miles south of Butler Boulevard).
