Hike in the Sawmill Slough Preserve

Join us on a enjoyable hike through the Sawmill Slough Preserve, a 382-acre protected area on the University of North Florida campus.

On the hike we will pass through upland pines, turkey-oak woodlands and cypress swamps.

The entrance to the trail is conveniently located off UNF's I-295 entrance. After entering the campus from I-295 or St. Johns Bluff, turn right into the Parking Services building, which is where we will be meeting.

Bring bug spray and a reusable water bottle. No pets. This hike has a limited number of available spots.

Nice cloudy day in the 80's - nice day for a summertime hike! Really enjoyed having our knowledgeable biologist guide point out native fauna and flora along the lovely trails. Thanks guides!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
