STILL WILD AT 50 CELEBRATION
The first week of September is the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Wilderness Act by President Johnson. This historic act has resulted in over 2.5 million acres of wilderness in Oregon for our enjoyment, including Three Sisters, Opal Creek, Steens Mountain, Mount Hood and Eagle Cap. Come to a Wilderness 50 celebration happy hour at Ninkasi Brewing outdoor patio on Tuesday, September second from 6:30 to 8:00. This event is organized by Sierra Club Many Rivers Group, Oregon Wild, The Obsidians, Great Old Broads For Wilderness, The US Forest Service and River House Outdoor Program.
