"Pesticides, People & Politics"

Sierra Club Many Rivers Group Presents: "Pesticides, People & Politics" with Josh Vincent of the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides

Sierra Club welcomes the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides (NCAP) for a talk on pesticide use and related environmental issues. By highlighting both local and national concerns, this discussion will explore how pesticides are used and the many ways they impact communities, including ours. Included will be a brief look at how pesticide use has evolved in Oregon, how pesticides impact food and food policy, and how you can get involved to protect the environment and yourself.

Doors open at 6:45, program starts at 7:00.

It was very informative. I wish there was more information on safe pesticides in the presentation though.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
