I grew up and live in Westchester County, NY. My academic and professional background has been focused on biology, ecology, and natural history but main interest is in aquatic and marine biology. Hold a B. A. in Biology and M. S. in Environmental Education. Worked seasonally/contracted at various environmental organizations in New England and New York over the years. My last job was at the American Museum of Natural History, working with data-basing the AMNH bee collection. Spend 2 months living, learning about permaculture and working on a eco-kibbutz in Israel in the southern (Arava Desert) of the country. Nature photography and reading are my favorite pastime activities.
Nature walking/easy-moderate hiking; nature photography

I am a nature lover. Enjoy spending time exploring the shores and woods of the Northeast, sharing the experience with other like-minded people, and photographing wildlife (birds, mammals, insects). Have background in bio and environmental studies.
