Jerusalem is a terminal of creativity, young energy and action. We are creating a positive and active community of entrepreneurs in Jerusalem that is constantly growing and evolving, based on our general “good karma” approach of helping as many people as possible and leverage our large network and resources for the benefit of the entire community.
We strongly believe that cultivating an entrepreneurial culture that will inspire, educate and nurture a generation of ambitious entrepreneurs will get us closer to achieving our mission of creating a vibrant startup scene in Jerusalem.
We'll be holding a lot of events, meetups, workshops and lecture-style sessions designed to help entrepreneurs learn fundamentals, expand knowledge and level up their skill set. We cover wide-range of topics such as user experience, business development, message development, pitch skills, innovative thinking methods and more. The sessions also create the opportunities to engage and interact with top-experts in their fields.
We welcome all entrepreneurs and creators to join us !
Who are we anyway ?
SIFTECH was founded in early 2011 as a bottom up initiative of the Hebrew University Students Union by enthusiastic activists. The idea behind the project was to foster an entrepreneurial startup ecosystem and create a vibrant environment for early-stage startups in Jerusalem as an engine for the city's long-term economic growth.
Since its foundation Siftech has focused on setting up the infrastructure for early stage startups to grow in Jerusalem by building a lively startup community; initiating the first startup accelerator in the city, organizing events and initiating a range of projects for nurturing entrepreneurship.
We are proud to say that over the past several years the Jerusalem start up scene has undergone a “renaissance” as increasing numbers of entrepreneurs are choosing the city as a first stop in their startup journey. This community is growing rapidly as an increasing amount of bright, innovative thinkers and doers start their creative initiatives in Jerusalem.
