Connecting with new parents and their babies/toddlers with sign language is fun! As someone who is fluent in ASL (signing as a baby myself - my mom is DEAF) and having 3 children who sign, I am able to provide you with tremendous insight to signing with your baby and greater vocabulary. When you begin to observe your child's interests you may find it is not the typical "baby" words you want to sign but something like PAPER, LEAF, DANCE etc... and it has been my specialty to aid parents in how to integrate signs as a learning tool for their children. Join us and find out why so many of the families I teach take ASL to the next level and continue learning with their children.

MEMBERSHIP is $5 to join. We do not collect annual dues, just a one time fee. This is to ensure we have famiies joining that are committed to participating and because the time allocated to maintaining the site is no easy task.

Most parents in the Workshops and Classes have identified with attachment parenting practices and that is the philosophy I consistently correlate signing with in the programs that I teach. Please note that while you will find a plethora of Signing Story Times on our calendar, there is a distinction between attending a performance versus getting hands on learning, Q & A, open discussion guided by an instructor, and lots of continuous support for signing success. This meetup was formed as a way to continue supporting my clients by offering an environment of signing activities. While it is not mandatory to have taken a workshop or class with Sign4Baby to be a member, it is highly recommended.
