Signal-to-Noise Audio Labs is an interdisciplinary R&D group that makes cool stuff. We’re scientists, artists, engineers and everything in between that come together to research, design, develop, perform with, and teach innovative media technologies. Some of the disciplines draw from:

  • Physics
  • Music
  • Acoustics
  • Psychoacoustics
  • Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
  • Audio Engineering
  • Cognitive Sciences
  • Computer Sciences
  • Mathematics
  • Industrial Design
  • And so much more!

The group was founded with an audio/sound emphasis as that's our background, but we include a lot of the visual and electronic arts as well.

The group is open to all levels of experience and expertise!
