I am currently enrolled in ASL I with the intention of pursuing a degree at CCBC in ASL Interpretation. I've had a lifelong interest in ASL and before the semester began I have done a little self-study at home via online resources/videos (which is SO much easier than trying to learn from just a book, which I tried to do as a child!). I've been practicing and signing at home and trying to teach my 4-year-old a few signs as I learn.
Hello, I'm a very new (hearing) ASL student and I am seeking out spaces that are friendly towards learners where I can practice my signing, start to get involved with the local d/Deaf and HH community, and meet new people with similar interests.
