I'm always eager to meet like-minded individuals and imagine I will in a group passionate about combining technology and volunteering. I'm proudly from Detroit, but have come to consider LA home too and want to make this a better place for all of us.

What social issues are you most passionate about? What topics resonate most strongly with you?

Child literacy, social justice, and issues related to State/Federal park system

What organizations or initiatives have you volunteered with in the past?

I'm a volunteer with KOREH LA, the largest volunteer children's literacy program in the city. I have an awesomely smart 2nd grader I read to weekly. In 2009 I lead the digital effort to support the (successful) release of Connie Keel from prison. When I lived in Chicago I was an auxiliary board member for UCAN, a social service agency which serves more than 12,000 children, youth and families in Illinois each year.
