Building your IP the American way

  • Jan 21, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

In the third event of our IP AT THE CUTTING EDGE series, Christopher J. Palermo, a US patent attorney from leading Silicon Valley based law firm Hickman Palermo, will be discussing issues relating to protecting your intellectual property in the US.  Chris acts for the crème de la crème of Silicon Valley tech companies from established giants such as Apple and Cisco to rising stars like Dropbox and Netflix.

In this talk Chris will lead you through developing a product-aligned IP plan, selecting and protecting your innovations in the US—both with a view to patents as the new corporate asset—and evaluating and resolving patent risks.  Following the talk Chris will then be answering questions from the audience.

There is already lots of interest in Chris’s visit to the UK and we are therefore expecting a high demand for Chris’s time in the Q&A session.  As such, we are asking for questions to be submitted in advance. Tweet your question to @KilburnStrode with the hashtag #QuizPalermo or email it to Kirstie McClumpha

In the IP AT THE CUTTING EDGE series Kilburn & Strode LLP serve up some of the world’s leaders in IP and innovation to show how intellectual property rights can help companies at the cutting edge of technology, all washed down with cocktails from one of London’s finest mixologists.

The presentation was really interesting and it answered the questions I had on Intellectual property quite clearly, the possibility of discussion with the speaker was good.

Sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it this evening. Totally gutted as this looks like a rare opportunity to hear Chris speak. Will the meetup be recorded in anyway?

Nick, the link to Kirstie above doesn't work - I wanted to send over a question. Can you post her email address?

I've been asked about the cost of this event. Please note that the event is FREE. Not only that, there will be FREE COCKTAILS for all to wash down what I am sure will be an excellent talk by Chris Palermo.
