San Jose State Students Build Formula-1 Style Racecars

Presenters: Vince Donatini and Kevin Krakauer.

San Jose State University students discuss the methods in designing, building, testing, & competing with formula style racecars in SAE's Collegiate Design Series; Formula SAE.  This talk will be focused on the engineering aspect of the competition and how it effects students success while at university.

6:30 PM -- usual refreshments (sandwiches, chips, fruit, soda, no alcohol).

7 PM -- presentations and lab tour.

100% of the proceeds will go towards SJSU's project thanks to the ongoing generosity of our principal sponsor, ICS.    There will be no refunds.   Nonetheless, if your plans change, please cancel your yes-RSVP so that someone else can use the spot.

I *may* have friends interested in checking this out. Would they be able to attend last minute? (Could their donation be given in cash directly to the SJSU FSAE team at the event?)

Dean, usually half the people who sign up show up, but this time folks have paid, so turn out should be higher. Who knows?

Guy, please see comments below. Note the check addressing information at the bottom of this page. DO NOT bring a check made out to me, as I will not accept it.

Note, Attendees: parking is available on the street at no cost after 7PM, if you can find a spot. The most likely places are along San Fernando on the border of campus, or on 10th street. If no spaces are available, the North Parking Garage is the closest to where the event will be held-- it would cost $4-6 to park for the duration of the event.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
