Discuss "Reinventing the Automobile" book

The event is full: please organize a second dinner or lunch to discuss the book.   Since there will be no presentation and no food subsidy, there is nothing special about this particular running of this event.    Just hold another one!

Book: http://tinyurl.com/m5hblrp (please purchase your own copy).

Restaurant: http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-hot-chilli-pepper-san-carlos

The restaurant is within walking distance of San Carlos Caltrain.

This is a strawman proposal: date and location subject to change, but book is not.

The dinner is self-hosted: you buy your own meal without subsidy.   I am going to make a reservation for dinner the day before the event, and will take attendance.  Please DO NOT sign up and not show up.   This is intended to be a small event.

Please DO NOT come if you are not planning on reading the book.

I'll be there, but Kim has a conflict and can't make it. Perhaps someone else can fit in. Sorry for the late change.

No worries, Frank and Kim. We should have 10 folks, which is plenty for a book discussion.

D'oh, I had to change the venue: the other restaurant is not open on Mondays. This one is.

Sorry, I am not a full-time event organizer. I wish volunteers would take more of a role in running the group.

Eunice, if you'd organize a follow-up book discussion, that would be great. I liked the book about Chinese car market called _Chinese Roads, American Wheels_, but the organizer gets to pick.

Hmm, the PUMA certainly owes a debt of gratitude to the Isetta:

I'm surprised that the book does not mention it!

Isetta! Never seen before. Super cute. Btw I found this too. I guess PUMA was collaboration work with Segway.

If someone drops out, I'd like to attend.

Frank, you and Kim organize another dinner or lunch! 12 is maximum for a book discussion, but there's enough interest to have a second event. Please discuss with anyone on waitlist and announce your own event.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
