Interested in IVI, open source, and leveraging a vehicle's sensors and GPS to enable all sorts of new and interesting functionality.
I used to get my car serviced by NPR's Car Talk hosts at their Good News Garage when I lived in Cambridge, MA. I'm currently watching all the episodes of BBC's Top Gear sequentially -- from season one to the present.
This is a great group with lots of energy and participation from the relevant industry, academic, and community members

Peter,
You seem like an enthusiastic guy, so I appreciate your joining the group, and attending this meeting. YES, our groups can have a lot of potential complementary power! I've chatted with Alison about this. Let's advertise for each other's meetings, etc. I look forward to meeting you and coordinating. See you at the Pizza feast!
Best Regards,
