Tell us a little about your interest and history with cars and open source. There are no wrong answers, so feel no pressure!

We are innovators and iconoclasts in automotive display, democratizing HUD with deep-field A/R image placement designed for exquisite, non-distracting telematics and V2X (etc) information display on a small, flexible under-dash footprint while portraying an exceptionally wide field of view, no special glass or head or eye-tracking is used. We focus on hardware and middleware, keeping our front-end concerns focused on best practices employed by OEMs and other IVI developers. We did develop and patent the Virtual Cable interface. Some (older) videos are up on YouTube under MVS-California.

I'm COO at MVS-California, developers of the True3D Head Up Display. I'm passionate about driving, and about safety, distraction and performance related to UX in the cabin.
