Thanks Andreas and Scott, Last night's presentation was the perfect forum for everyone to learn - from novice to expert. Andreas presented an exceptional perspective - touching on the key elements that make cryptocurrencies important in our futures. Math/cryptography, finance, institutional control (or lack of), the advantages of the distributed network, and social impact - a recipe to stimulate thought and discussion. No wonder everyone was so energized afterward. (Reminiscent of mid 90's when the Web was evolving; or further back - the 70's and the Homebrew Computer Club.)

Thanks to Scott, JB, and the PnP gang for an excellent night.

Thanks Scott and Andreas. Andreas, your talk cleared up a lot of issues for me. Scott, the rapid increase in the size of your meet-ups is a strong indicator (among many other signals) that Virtual Currency is the next big thing.

Thanks Scott and Andreas. One the the most comprehensive Bitcoin talks and Q&A I've heard. There were multiple video cameras. Did anyone post it online? A link would be much appreciated. Thanks.

As always, it's great to hear from Andreas. He provides a wealth of knowledge in the fields of cryptography, networking, fault-tolerant systems, monetary theory, finance, and societal impacts to this very disruptive and fast-changing market.

This is a great place for people to learn about bitcoin, how it works, and where it might go in the future. There are various moves and countermoves in the game of monetary finance, with some very big players, and it is fascinating to hear what some possible outcomes could be.

Personally, I think that CryptoCurrencies are the next big (ie: disruptive) thing/technology - after the internet and social networking. The time is about right, the technology is maturing, and the impact could be bigger than anything we might imagine.

Thanks to Scott, and JB, and Plug'n'Play for setting up this Meetup (and all the past weekly Silicon Valley Bitcoin meetups).

I'm in Duboce park, or any muni station. Anyone reading this, I'm still looking for a ride if available please message me. I'm happy to provide a bit of cash to save a cab ride. :)

It's not along the way for me, but I can probably drop you off at a bus stop near Sunset that would take you there.

Yes, link to the video once it's up. I just need someone to man/equip the livestream (we can provide connection, just need a camera & person to stream on justin.tv)
