Inbound Marketing (also called Content Marketing) is where you "wind up" your website so it attracts your crowd and converts some of them into prospects for your business.
The basic principal behind Inbound Marketing is that it is fundamentally easier AND CHEAPER to make it easy for your prospects to find you, than it is for you to keep going out and finding them.
The good news is, it really is. It's amazing how well this works.
It is not nearly as hard as people think, HOWEVER to be effective it must be done right. The only time I've ever seen it fail is when people changed the system and deviated from how we teach them to do it. I know that may sound egotistical, but we are really good at this AND anyone can do it.
If your business needs visibility and leads, you need to learn how to do this.
This is an eight part series that teaches you in detail how you can do this too.
These are webinars. The URLs for each session are listed below.
This Meetup happens for bloggers in the very heart of the Bay Area - Silicon Valley.
This is one of the oldest groups on meetup.com and we still welcome new members!
The owner of this Meetup group, Bill Belew, is a professional blogger = for many years he has paid his sizable Silicon Valley mortgage through revenue from traffic to his network of sites.
Bill Belew is a university professor and in-demand speaker from Digital Media Asia Malaysia to Mexico to NYC to Blogworld / New Media Live in Vegas to his home-town, Sunnyvale, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Join to participate in live and webinar-style Meetups with Bill Belew.
We are writers and aspiring writers. We are bloggers and wannabe bloggers. We meet regularly to interact with serious and not-so serious bloggers.
And the Meetup serves Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, San Jose, San Mateo and Los Altos.
We also have author book readings, hold informal writing sessions and discussions, and support each others' writing aspirations. We strive to become better writers and bloggers.
We will often feature expert speakers on writing, blogging, and web-related issues. There will be special emphasis on optimizing web traffic and blog monetization.
Our topics of discussion include:
1) writing better and faster
2) overcoming writer's block and procrastination
3) driving traffic to your blog
4) how to gain traction, credibility, and legitimacy as a blogger
5) how to grow your audience
6) monetizing your blog
7) how to get "published" - on-line and off-line
We welcome veteran bloggers, newbies and those of you who want to learn more about the wonderful world of writing and blogging.
We are a supportive, non-competitive community focused on helping each other improve and grow as writers and bloggers. We are here to help each other achieve their writing goals -- be they grand and lofty, or practical and realistic.
We are a community composed of talented, creative people located in the innovation capital of the world -- Silicon Valley.
