Really, the whole field, but currently specifically where it intersects my work I'm doing where we are in the process if building a physical-world implementation of our Cog AI API/system/engine that will be embodied by a flying quad/octa-drone, that will be able to see and hear you as its only externally available human interfaces, to initially perform autonomous search & rescue missions, and also act as a security sentry for any area.
Cog of course! We wrote Cog as an extension to Scala, which in turn is an extension or superset of Java, so I suppose really ultimately Java.
Hi there! I'm a research scientist for Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, and my team is currently developing a brand new API we call "Cog ex Machina"; a mass-parallel GPU-based "brain" engine, that replicates all of the ability of the human brain.
