Let's bring computers again; seems like having repl running turns out to be pretty productive.

Guys who have not participated yet: this is probably the last chance to join; we did not go any deep yet, but we will soon.

A number of us in the SVP diaspora are forming a remote study group to support each other in becoming working Scala professionals. Study sessions are convened in small teams of up to 10 members by using Google Hangout.

But he group as a whole shares knowledge and resources through a group WIKI (https://remote.atlassian.net/wik...) and the group mailing list (https://groups.google.com/forum/...).

Study Circle 1 is in the process of being formed, and includes SVP diaspora members Azad Bolour, David Vydra, and Jeff Miller. This circle's expectations of time commitment are one hour of preparation and two-hours of Hangout session per week. The expectations of Scala knowledge are basic Scala programming ability. If you are interested either in joining Circle 1, or in joining the group and forming other circles, please see the group WIKI for more information.

    Thanks.
