Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis Foundation

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Since our founding over four decades ago, CCFA has remained at the forefront of research in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Our areas of focus include research programs, education programs, and support services.

Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis is CCFA's largest fundraising event and the nation's only walk dedicated to finding a cure for digestive diseases. Participants raise funds and awareness throughout the year, and come together to celebrate the steps that have been taken towards a cure.

We will be helping out at the Take Steps walk with registration, distributing food, and handing out t-shirts.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

We will meet up at the volunteer check-in area.

When: 3:30pm-7:30pm - Please only signup for the event if you can stay for the entire shift

Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and dress in layers as the walk continues into the evening.

It is a flat 3k walk through downtown San Jose, and there will be live entertainment. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, and food/drinks will be provided. It looks like a fun event for a good cause!

See you all there!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
